Our private calligraphy classes can be tailored to suit any interests and skill level, ranging from beginner to novice and intermediate. Choose your class content to include anything from the basics, to more advanced options like flourishing and ink mixing!

Perfect for if you’d like an afternoon at home, learning a new craft, or together with some of your closest friends and family. Picking up a new skill together is a great bonding activity.

Duration/Sessions

The duration for the session(s) is usually 3 contact hours for beginners. This starting workshop will give you all the basic skills you will need to start on your calligraphy journey.

Weekly sessions can also be set up for beginners who wish to reach a more advanced stage at the end of their learning. Usually this will take about 5-6 contact hours, which can be split over two to three weekends of your choice.

materials

Classes can be arranged to be taught with or without materials, depending on your skill level. For complete beginners, we can offer our beginners complete calligraphy starter kit to be included in the workshop.

For those who already have their own materials, we’d love to share our craft with you too. Just let us know what materials you have, and we’d be happy to advise.
